Amazon product image requirements (2026)

What the Amazon preset does

The preset above produces a 2000 × 2000 px JPEG on a pure white background, with your product automatically framed to fill about 85% of the image. That covers every rule in the table at once: large enough for hover-zoom, square so nothing gets cropped in search results, and white down to the exact RGB value Amazon's scanner expects.

The background removal runs a segmentation model directly in your browser. Your photo is decoded, the product is cut out, re-framed and re-encoded on your own machine. nothing is uploaded to any server.

Batch workflow for a full listing

  1. Select the Amazon preset (it is already selected on this page).
  2. Drop up to 50 photos at once. They process one by one, in order.
  3. Download each image as soon as it is ready, or grab the whole batch as a ZIP.

Only the main image must have a white background. Secondary images (positions 2–8) may show lifestyle scenes, scale references or infographics. Those need no white ground and no recentring, so send them through the bulk resizer instead: it scales the whole frame and leaves your composition alone.

Common rejection causes this tool prevents

  • Off-white background: studio photos often look white but measure 250/250/248. The preset repaints the ground at exactly 255/255/255.
  • Product too small in frame: the auto-framing scales the product to ~85% with even margins.
  • Image below 1000 px: this tool never upscales: a source smaller than the target keeps its own size (background removed, product recentered) and a warning tells you it is under Amazon's minimum, so you know to reshoot rather than upload a soft image.

Every tool here follows the same rule

Whatever you came to do, it happens on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and none of it costs anything.

Your images are still on your device

That is the whole idea. Drop them, take the results, close the tab. Nothing was sent anywhere and nothing was kept.
